Prospective Students

The Institute of Sports and Sports Science (IfSS) offers a wide range of courses. A fundamental course in sports science is offered by the Bachelor of Science degree programme (B.Sc.). The associated mandatory elective Fitness and Health Management has a strong occupational field orientation to qualify sports students with the Bachelor's degree for various occupational fields. The three Master of Science profiles (M.Sc.) focus on sports science research content and research methods. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and, based on this, the Master of Education (M.Ed.), formerly a grammar school teacher degree, offer a sound teacher education with a high proportion of practical sports education.
